Special Needs

Riding for people with disabilities is both therapeutic and recreational and is a unique form of exercise and rehabilitation. The ability to control a horse as well as one's own body inspires self-confidence, responsibility and teamwork. Best of all, it is a thoroughly enjoyable experience, which creates a special relationship between rider and horse and promotes personal challenges. Regular riders gain lifelong benefits including increased confidence and self esteem, improved balance and coordination, thus improving their quality of life.

Our RSN Group is a registered charity which offers riding for everyone to the best of our ability. (Weight limit 15 st.)

Note: we are always delighted to welcome new volunteer helpers and fund-raisers, as this is a very labour-intensive activity!
